about
A parametric fiber optic network design tool built for resource-constrained environments. Designed to work with minimal GIS data and run on modest hardware.
This system was an old and now updated project designed for practical deployment in underserved communities and as a way to speed up my workflow designing OSP telecommunications and practice my scripting knowledge, this current version is prohibitively technical and has been (and will remain) an imperfect personal use-case for now.
Future plans include ArcGIS Pro plug-in implementation, crafting a user-friendly interface, and creating more features to reflect real-world construction and splicing with distributed and centralized fiber splicing.
